At Salsia Care Foundation (SCF), we believe that meaningful partnerships can open doors to opportunities that individuals and families may otherwise struggle to access.
Our partnership with GodRules Speech and Hearing Rehabilitation Centre, Nigeria-Ghana, is one such relationship—one that continues to grow through a shared commitment to supporting individuals with hearing loss and improving access to assistive devices.
A First Step Built on Personal Commitment
The partnership began with a meaningful intervention in December 2025, when GodRules donated a hearing aid to support one of the children connected to Salsia Care Foundation. On 26 December 2025, Dr. Olawale Ogundiran, Founder and CEO of GodRules Speech and Hearing Rehabilitation Centre, travelled from Ho in the Volta Region to SCF’s office in Nungua, Accra, to personally fit the hearing aid for the child.
SCF subsequently expressed its appreciation for the gesture and Dr. Ogundiran’s personal commitment to supporting the child and family. That first intervention became more than a one-time donation. It marked the beginning of a relationship built around trust, professional support and a shared understanding of the difference that access to appropriate hearing technology can make.
Continuing the Partnership
On 24 September 2026, GodRules Speech and Hearing Rehabilitation Centre continued this partnership by providing two additional hearing aids for individuals who had reached out to Salsia Care Foundation for support with hearing loss.
The latest donation represents another step in expanding access to assistive devices for individuals and families within the SCF community.
With the continued trust placed in Salsia Care Foundation and its audiology support, the devices can be appropriately fitted and supported according to the needs of the recipients. Professional hearing-aid fitting and rehabilitation are important parts of ensuring that assistive devices are used effectively and that recipients receive the appropriate support as they adjust to them. Audiology services commonly include hearing assessment, hearing-aid fitting and rehabilitation support.
More Than a Hearing Aid
For a person living with hearing loss, access to a hearing aid can be about much more than receiving a device. It can support communication with family members, participation in school or work, interaction within the community and greater independence in everyday life. Hearing rehabilitation is ultimately about helping people communicate, connect and participate more fully.
"Inclusion is not only about being seen. It is also about having the support, tools and opportunities needed to connect, participate and belong."
This is why partnerships such as the one between GodRules and SCF matter. For Salsia Care Foundation, the relationship reinforces the importance of connecting families and individuals to practical support while working with professionals and organisations that bring specialised knowledge and resources to the disability community.
For GodRules Speech and Hearing Rehabilitation Centre, its continued support demonstrates a commitment to making hearing support accessible to individuals who may need assistance obtaining appropriate devices.
A Partnership We Value
Salsia Care Foundation is deeply grateful to Dr. Olawale Ogundiran and the entire GodRules Speech and Hearing Rehabilitation Centre team for their continued generosity, trust and commitment.
From the first hearing aid provided in December 2025 to the two additional devices provided in September 2026, this partnership continues to demonstrate what can happen when organisations come together around a shared commitment to inclusion and meaningful support.
At SCF, we look forward to building on this relationship and reaching more individuals and families who need access to hearing and other assistive support.
Everyone matters. Everyone belongs.
